What this site aims for
The target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is an aim rather than a certified claim, because the site has not been independently audited.
What’s been done
- Semantic headings and landmarks, with a skip link to the main content.
- Every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- The FAQ uses native
<details>elements, so it works with assistive technology and without JavaScript. - Text contrast tested against the brand palette: olive ink on stone comfortably exceeds the 4.5:1 minimum.
- Animation and smooth scrolling are disabled automatically when your system asks for reduced motion.
- The interactive controls (such as the cookie preferences) have real labels, and state is never signalled by colour alone.
- Layout uses relative units, so it reflows rather than breaking when text is enlarged to 200%.
Known gaps
The consent dialog moves focus to its heading and closes on Escape, but it does not yet fully trap focus within itself. That is on the list to fix.
